Dick Van Dyke is in his Barbie period (serious about dying rather a lot). But when you’ve a legacy as robust as his, you’d even be okay with leaving it behind — particularly with what’s to return. Van Dyke, who turns 99 on December 13, accepts his mortality within the new Coldplay music video for “All My Love”, the place he’s transferring and grooving whereas residing his life to the fullest. The video begins by declaring that it was filmed on October 2024, and Van Dyke was born in 1925; he’s seen fairly a bit throughout his time on earth. But he’s happy with what his legacy can be as he walks into his yard to see Chris Martin on the keys. “I’m acutely conscious that I, you already know, might go any day now, however I don’t know why it doesn’t concern me,” he shares within the video. “I’m not afraid of it. I’ve that feeling, completely towards something mental that I’m gonna be alright.”
The music video concludes with Martin freestyle singing a tune about Van Dyke’s life and profession, a lot to his amazement. “You’ve bought that on movie?” he asks the digicam as he smiles in disbelief of Martin.
