Steve Mensch, Tyler Perry Studios president, killed in Florida airplane crash


Steve Mensch, the president and common supervisor at Tyler Perry Studios, was killed when a single-engine airplane he was piloting crashed Friday evening in Florida.

The Citrus County Sheriff’s workplace recognized Mensch as the only occupant of the single-engine fixed-wing airplane that crashed Friday round 8 p.m. in Homosassa.

Tyler Perry Studios confirmed that Mensch had died.

“We are extremely saddened by the passing of our expensive buddy, Steve Mensch. Steve was a cherished member of our staff for greater than 8 years, and effectively beloved in the neighborhood of Atlanta,” the studio mentioned in an announcement. “It is difficult to think about not seeing him smiling all through the halls.
