President-elect Donald Trump nominated just a few extra candidates on Wednesday evening to serve in numerous positions throughout his second time period.
He tapped Kari Lake as the following director of the Voice of America, a state-funded U.S. authorities broadcaster. Lake was a longtime Arizona broadcaster who ran unsuccessfully for public workplace in 2022 and 2024.
