Torres demanded the labels to cease “instantly and globally, from utilizing, reproducing, modifying, distributing or commercializing” the track.
Adele’s representatives didn’t reply to the LA Times’ request to remark.
Geraes’ lawyer blasted Adele, calling the track a “parasitic use” of Brazilian music and saying he’ll work to maintain the track off radio, TV, streaming providers and different platforms worldwide.
