Fatah seeks to ban Al Jazeera from working in West Bank – Israel News


Fatah reportedly introduced on Monday its choice to ban the Qatari state-owned media Al Jazeera from working within the West Bank, in accordance with Israeli media, citing Palestinian stories. 

Fatah accused the Qatari information outlet of incitement amid the clashes between the Palestinian Authority safety forces and terrorist factions within the West Bank metropolis of Jenin. 

Fatah condemned the Qatari-headquartered community saying it was sowing division in “our Arab homeland usually and in Palestine particularly.” It inspired Palestinians to not cooperate with the community.

Forces of the PA, which workout routines restricted self-rule within the West Bank, moved into Jenin in early December, clashing every day with fighters from Hamas and Islamic Jihad, each of that are supported by Iran.

The standoff has fueled bitter anger on either side, deepening the divisions which have lengthy existed between the Palestinian factions and their supporters.
