NASA’s LEXI Will Provide X-Ray Vision of Earth’s Magnetosphere


NASA’s subsequent mission to the Moon will carry an instrument referred to as LEXI (the Lunar Environment Heliospheric X-ray Imager), which can present the first-ever international view of the magnetic atmosphere that shields Earth from photo voltaic radiation.
