Photos: Flames engulf Southern California as crews battle to regulate Palisades Fire

Tens of hundreds of Southern Californians have been ordered to flee their houses Tuesday after a brushfire exploded in the Pacific Palisades space of Los Angeles.

Fueled by highly effective Santa Ana winds and dry situations, the Palisades Fire ignited Tuesday morning as a brushfire and had grown to almost 3,000 acres by Tuesday night.

Dramatic photos confirmed pillars of smoke looming over the coastal neighborhood. Flames could possibly be seen advancing towards, and folks have been captured fleeing the world on foot.
