‘Gladiator’ star ‘struggling financially’ regardless of being two-time Oscar nominee



Djimon Hounsou admits not being pretty acknowledged in Hollywood 

Actor Djimon Hounsou has confessed that he’s going through monetary issues despite the fact that he has had a decades-long profitable profession.

The 60-year-old has been a significant a part of the Hollywood leisure business, and his two Academy Award nominations is a proof of that.

He bagged Oscar nominations for 1998 historic drama Amistad and 2006 thriller Blood Diamond.

Besides these, Djimon has been part of many in style films particularly A Quiet Place, Shazam, Guardians of the Galaxy and Furious 7.

Still, he believes that he’s struggling and is underpaid in showbiz.

The Rebel Moon actor claimed whereas having a chat on CNN’s African Voices Changemakers, “I’m nonetheless struggling to make a dwelling.”

“I’ve been within the film-making enterprise for over 20 years with two Oscar nominations and plenty of blockbuster movies, and but, I’m nonetheless struggling financially. I’m positively underpaid”, he defined.

According to the American actor, systematic racism is the foundation difficulty as he claimed that he suffered a stretch again through the marketing campaign of Amistad.
