Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo are sharing their ideas on the weird ‘holding area’ meme throughout Wicked’s media tour.
During an unique interview with Variety on Friday, December 6, the 31-year-old pop celebrity mirrored on a previous ‘cringeworthy’ interview she did alongside her co-star, a 37-year-old stage icon.
Cynthia reiterated within the interview, “I had no concept that this factor was happening.”
Sharing her stance on the topic the Side To Side hitmaker added bluntly that she “didn’t know what any a part of it meant, I did not perceive the primary sentence. And then I undoubtedly did not perceive what was taking place, the way you responded.”
She additional went on so as to add, “I used to be like, “Oh, what did she say, and what did you hear?” And I simply needed to be there [for Cynthia], as a result of I knew one thing huge was taking place, and I did not know how you can be there.”
This comes on the heels of Ariana’s response to Tracy Gilchrist’s query inquiring about their ‘holding area’ for the emotional lyrics of a track on Wicked’s soundtrack Defying Gravity.
The We Can’t Be Friends singer didn’t hesitate to react to the viral pattern on the time, admitting to ‘holding area’ for Gilchrist after the duo held one another’s arms because the interview’s audio performed.
The Glinda actress enthused, “Oh my goodness! Our queen!!!! Holding area with you all the time.”
Fans went completely gaga over Ariana’s comment, solidifying why she’s the last word queen.
