Aubrey Plaza speaks out on late husband Jeff Baena’s dying

Actor Aubrey Plaza spoke out Monday on the latest dying of her husband, author and director Jeff Baena.

Plaza known as her late husband’s dying “an unimaginable tragedy” in an announcement on behalf of the Baena-Stern household.

“We are deeply grateful to everybody who has supplied help. Please respect our privateness throughout this time,” the assertion stated.

Baena, who directed “Life after Beth” and co-wrote “I Heart Huckabees,” died Friday by suicide, based on the Los Angeles County medical expert. He was 47 years previous.

Baena and Plaza, 40, married in 2021. The couple labored collectively on a number of movies, together with 2014’s “Life After Beth,” during which Plaza had a starring function.

The Sundance Film Festival posted a tribute to Baena on X, extending “our heartfelt because of Jeff Baena for sharing his tales and contributing to the lasting reminiscences we’ve constructed collectively.”

“Jeff, we’ll miss your wit, humor, and daring imaginative and prescient. Rest in peace, pal,” Sundance posted.
