Christian Slater is in excessive spirits following his reunion with Mobsters co-star Patrick Dempsey after over three many years.
In an interview with People, Slater, who final shared the display with Dempsey in 1991, appeared 30 years again to after they performed the younger mobsters taking up New York City within the Twenties.
“I had labored with Dempsey 30 years in the past in Mobsters, and it was a humorous gangster film,” he recalled. “It’s actually one thing. We obtained our Tommy weapons and it is a fairly humorous film.”
In the movie, Slater, now 55, performed Charlie “Lucky” Luciano, a real-life gangster who was a part of the creation of the National Crime Syndicate.
Meanwhile, Dempsey, now 58, was Meyer Lansky, one other organised crime figurehead.
In addition to his emotions for the crime drama movie, Slater mirrored on his reunion along with his long-lost Mobsters co-star.
“It was fantastic to reconnect with [Dempsey]. It was actually, actually nice. Really nice,” he shared.
Dempsey and Slater appeared within the Dexter prequel collection, Dexter: Original Sin, which explores how Michael C. Hall culminated the notorious serial killer.
Following the 2006 collection, the brand new present will function Dempsey as Miami Metro Homicide Captain Aaron Spencer and Slater performs Dexter’s father, Harry.
