Cynthia Erivo opened up about sleep deprivation on set of the musical Wicked.
During the screening of the musical and a Q&A in Los Angeles on December 12, the 37-year-old actress shared that she gave up on sleep whereas enjoying Elphaba.
Erivo admitted she’s not sure and has her doubts about whether or not pushing herself so exhausting for work is taken into account “wholesome,” revealing she used to sleep for lower than three hours an evening whereas filming for the hit movie.
She talked about her intense routine, which included waking up early for a two hour lengthy exercise, then one other two hours spent within the make-up chair to organize for her name time on the set.
