Former Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Ander Herrera has joined Argentinian giants Boca Juniors, the membership introduced on Friday.
Herrera, 35, left Athletic Club as a free agent and signed a contract with Boca by means of the top of 2026.
“As a fan, I’ve already loved the fervour of this membership. Soon, I’ll have the consideration of enjoying on this very pitch,” Herrera stated in a video posted on Boca’s social media accounts.
Herrera will reunite with a number of former teammates in Buenos Aires. He performed with Marcos Rojo and Sergio Romero at United and with Edinson Cavani in Paris.

The Torneo Apertura begins on Jan. 26, with Boca internet hosting Argentinos Juniors.
The Spaniard described Boca as “large, particular, with a novel historical past and fervour.”
“My father labored right here [in Argentina] for a very long time, he advised me rather a lot about Boca and I’ve maintained that zeal since I used to be a toddler,” Herrera stated.
The footballer’s father, Pedro Herrera Sancristóbal, was a former participant and sports activities director who regularly traveled to Argentina for scouting.
