Carson Beck’s collegiate career has formally come to an finish.
The Georgia quarterback took to social media Saturday to announce his resolution to declare for the 2025 NFL Draft, simply 5 days after Beck underwent season-ending elbow surgical procedure.

“The previous 5 years on the University of Georgia have been nothing wanting a dream come true and I’ll without end cherish the recollections which were made,” Beck stated in a submit on Instagram.

Beck was injured within the first half of the Bulldogs’ time beyond regulation victory over Texas within the SEC championship recreation earlier this month.
He underwent surgical procedure Monday to restore the ulnar collateral ligament in his throwing arm and is predicted to start throwing within the spring.

Despite having one other 12 months of eligibility, Beck declared for the draft after back-to-back seasons as Georgia’s starter with a 24-3 report.

Gunner Stockton took over in Beck’s absence with hopes of main Georgia to a different nationwide championship. The Bulldogs face Notre Dame within the CFP quarterfinals within the Sugar Bowl Wednesday.
