Jamie Lee Curtis breaks silence on why it was necessary to attend 22 years for the enduring film’s sequel.

On December twelfth’s episode of Today, the 66-year-old movie star mentioned the 20 years lengthy watch for the Freaky Friday sequel whereas selling The Last Showgirl and The Sticky

“We couldn’t have made this film till now, as a result of Lindsay Lohan needed to be sufficiently old to have a 15-year-old child,” she highlighted.

In the movie, Lindsay’s character, Anna Coleman, will tackle motherhood, taking part in a mom to her daughter and shortly to be stepdaughter. 

“She has a 15-year-old, so I’m now a grandma,” she mentioned.

The Knives Out actress revealed that Freakier Friday will function nostalgic moments which are beloved by followers and have been desperate to see. 

 “It has the nostalgia of the unique film with Pink Slip and Chad Michael Murray,” the actress confirmed.

The 43-year-old actor performed Anna’s crush, Jake, within the 2003 traditional film. 

Jamie handed a comment on the heartthrob’s attraction and acknowledged, “Boy, do girls love Chad Michael Murray!”

“And it has some new components with it.”

According to Variety, the sequel will introduce new characters performed by Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and Manny Jacinto.
