Jason Kelce stood in assist of Los Angeles wildfires victims as he sported a hat which mentioned “LAFD,” referring to Los Angeles Fire Department.
The 37-year-old retired NFL star gave his heartfelt condolences to the folks affected by the devastating fires throughout the episode of his New Heights podcast, on Wednesday, January fifteenth, which he hosts with brother Travis Kelce.
“Our ideas are with everyone within the L.A. space,” mentioned Jason at the beginning of the episode, because the Kansas City Chiefs tight finish agreed, “We’ve all seen the footage. At this level, [we] know folks personally who’ve been affected by these fires and this tragedy. So our ideas are with you.”
Recounting his determination to sport the cap, he mentioned, “When I used to be strolling via the concourse space, I noticed the L.A. Fire Department hat that the Rams had been cosigning with. I’m like, ‘God dang, man. Like, man,’ I do not know. It simply, like, hit me proper within the second.”
The retired Philadelphia Eagles middle shared that he views soccer as an escape from horrifying realities, “I at all times loved enjoying when there was loopy issues taking place exterior of the sport. It was a option to kinda simply not have to consider it for a bit of bit.”
