Kate Middleton arrived at Westminster Abbey for her fourth annual “Together at Christmas” carol service on Friday in a glance that embodied festive class.

The 42-year-old royal wore a double-breasted crimson Alexander McQueen coat topped with a black velvet bow, together with black suede Ralph Lauren boots and a plaid Emilia Wickstead midi skirt.

While the princess arrived at Westminster Abbey solo, she was later joined by husband Prince William and their three kids —  Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6 — for the live performance itself, which 1,600 persons are anticipated to attend.
