NASA delays historic Artemis missions — but once more

NASA has introduced additional delays to its Artemis program, which guarantees to return astronauts to the moon for the primary time since 1972.

The Artemis 2 mission, initially slated to launch astronauts across the moon and again in September 2025, has been pushed again to April 2026. And the follow-up, Artemis 3, as soon as focused for late 2026, shall be moved to mid 2027, NASA Administrator Bill Nelson mentioned at a information convention on Thursday (Dec. 5).
