NASA’s Parker Solar Probe survived its record-breaking closest strategy to the photo voltaic floor on Dec. 24, 2024. Breaking its earlier report by flying simply 3.8 million miles above the floor of the Sun, the spacecraft hurtled by means of the photo voltaic ambiance at a blazing 430,000 miles per hour — sooner than any human-made object has ever moved.
