New Orleans Pelicans star Brandon Ingram has sustained a major low left ankle sprain and is out indefinitely, sources informed ESPN on Sunday.
Ingram will miss prolonged time with the damage, sources stated. He was damage in Saturday night time’s 119-109 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Ingram rolled his ankle when he landed on the foot of Oklahoma City’s Lu Dort after making an attempt a bounce shot. Ingram, whose elbow struck Dort within the face as he was going up for the shot, was whistled for an offensive foul.
Ingram, who’s averaging 22.2 factors per sport, needed to be helped off the ground and to the locker room. He left the Pelicans’ residence enviornment in a boot and crutches.
