The Indian inventory market may have 14 holidays in 2025, in line with the vacation schedule revealed by the NSE, BSE
India’s inventory exchanges have declared 14 buying and selling holidays in 2025. According to the calendar launched by the BSE and the National Stock Exchange, there can be two holidays in March and August, and one every in February, May, November, and December. April and October may have three buying and selling holidays. These embody nationwide holidays like Gandhi Jayanti and Independence Day and vital spiritual celebrations like Christmas, Diwali, and Eid.
These declared holidays are along with the common closures on the weekends and public holidays falling both on Saturday or Sunday.
A particular buying and selling session has been scheduled for Saturday, February 1, a day when Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will current the Union Budget for 2025-26.

However, it should be famous that the BSE and NSE might shut the market on days apart from the above-scheduled holidays or might open the market on days initially declared as holidays.
