U.S. Air Force awards Varda $48 million to check payloads on reentry capsules


WASHINGTON — Varda Space Industries secured a $48 million contract from the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory to check navy payloads on the corporate’s reentry capsules. 

A California-based startup targeted on in-space manufacturing, Varda Space developed a factory-in-orbit spacecraft — a compact, 120-kilogram satellite tv for pc engineered to supply high-value supplies similar to prescription drugs in zero-gravity circumstances.
