Ukraine’s Air Force reported a large-scale drone assault launched by Russia in a single day on 30 November – 1 December. The assault concerned 78 drones, together with Shahed one-way assault UAVs and different unidentified fashions, originating from Kursk, Oryol, and Bryansk areas in Russia.
Russia continues its deliberate every day air assaults on residential areas and civilian infrastructure. Since October 2022, it has systematically focused Ukraine’s power infrastructure with in depth missile and drone assaults, aiming to disrupt civilian life, significantly through the winter months.
According to the report, Ukrainian air protection models, together with missile troops, digital warfare (EW) programs, and cell fireplace teams, operated throughout six oblasts – Kyiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Sumy, and Poltava. As of 9 a.m., 32 drones have been confirmed destroyed, whereas EW programs allegedly brought on 45 drones to vanish from radar. One remaining drone was later reported neutralized midair in northwestern Ukraine’s Lutsk.
In Kyiv, roughly ten drones have been intercepted through the evening, in line with Serhii Popko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration. While no strikes occurred, crashing particles brought on harm in Holosiivskyi district.
“Six autos have been broken, and a residential constructing’s home windows have been shattered by the blast wave,” Popko acknowledged, reporting no accidents.
Separately, Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko reported a fireplace within the Obolonskyi district through the early morning air raid. However, the hearth, which engulfed kiosks over 100 sq. meters in an area market, was unrelated to Russian drone exercise. No casualties have been reported from the incident both.
Later within the morning, the Ukrainian navy reported a single drone shifting towards Lutsk. Around 11 a.m., explosions have been heard within the metropolis, confirmed by Lutsk Mayor Ihor Polishchuk. The air protection was reported to be actively partaking the risk. According to airspace monitoring channels, the drone was destroyed utilizing the Browning machine gun.
