Venus noticed shining brightly within the evening sky above moon


As night twilight darkened on Friday, January 3, Venus and the moon had been seen to the bare eye within the south-west evening sky. 

Venus, which has a diameter of 12,103.6 km and is the second closest planet to the solar could possibly be seen floating above the moon simply hours after sundown this night.
