SOUTH LAKE TAHOE — At least 5 individuals had been hospitalized after an incident on a Heavenly Ski Resort chairlift, officers confirmed Monday. 

The Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District stated crews responded shortly after 10 a.m. to the ski resort close to the Stagecoach Lodge. All 5 sufferers had been taken to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno for therapy. The nature and extent of their accidents was not but identified. 

A spokesperson for Heavenly Ski Resort issued an announcement shortly after 3 p.m. confirming an incident occurred on the Comet Express chairlift however didn’t say how the 5 people had been injured. The assertion stated:
