BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — An Alabama A&M soccer participant who suffered a head damage throughout a recreation in October has died.
Medrick Burnett Jr., 20, was taking part in his first season as a linebacker with Alabama A&M when he sustained the damage in the course of the annual Magic City Classic in opposition to in-state rival Alabama State on Oct. 26, the Jefferson County coroner stated in an announcement Friday.
