In her letter, Lilly detailed her divorce from her highschool sweetheart Slater, with whom she shares a toddler.
She wrote in her essay, “I confidently moved to a different nation with my 2-month-old child and my husband to assist his profession. Consumed by the magic and mundanity of latest motherhood, I did not perceive the rising distance between us.”
