At least 10 folks have been killed and dozens have been injured when a person drove round barricades and hurtled down Bourbon Street in New Orleans’ French Quarter in “very intentional conduct” as New Year’s revelers have been celebrating, New Orleans Police Department Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick stated earlier Wednesday.
“He was hellbent on creating the carnage and the harm that he did,” Kirkpatrick stated.
