The Arunachal Pradesh authorities has introduced a 3 per cent enhance in Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) for its common staff and pensioners, respectively, with impact from July 1.
There are 68,818 common staff within the northeastern state. With the revision, the DA and DR will rise from 50 per cent to 53 per cent, offering enhanced monetary help.
Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein introduced the hike on Wednesday.

Additionally, the House Rent Allowance (HRA) has been elevated to 30 per cent, 20 and 10 per cent, for varied classes of cities.
The complete monetary implication of the choice is estimated at Rs 63.92 crore from July 2024 to March 2025.
