Sean “Diddy” Combs’ efforts to probe claims of federal leaks have hit a roadblock.
On Monday, December 16, Judge Arun Subramanian denied the music mogul’s request for an evidentiary listening to into accusations that federal authorities leaked a 2016 lodge surveillance video to CNN, displaying him assaulting his then-girlfriend, Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura.
According to People journal, Subramanian dominated that Diddy “has not carried his burden” to substantiate his claims towards the federal government.
The footage, revealed by CNN 5 months earlier than Diddy’s September 2023 arrest on intercourse trafficking and racketeering costs, confirmed the hip hop mogul grabbing Ventura by the neck, throwing her to the bottom, and dragging her down a hallway. Months earlier than the footage was launched, Ventura settled her sexual assault lawsuit towards Combs only a day after submitting it.
After the video was leaked, Combs issued an apology in a since-deleted Instagram video, regardless of denying any assault till that time.
