FBR bars travellers from bringing items value over $1,200 into Pakistan

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Monday issued new tips relating to baggage, proscribing the passengers travelling to Pakistan from different international locations from bringing gadgets in giant amount.

The notification stated that suggestions on amendments relating to the “industrial amount” will be made inside seven days. 

The FBR additionally stated that they won’t be accepted after the stipulated interval.

According to the notification, passengers will solely be allowed to deliver one cell phone from overseas for private use whereas different telephones shall be confiscated.

Meanwhile, items introduced from overseas can be thought of for industrial use if they’re value greater than $1,200, stated the FBR.

The FBR, within the notification, added that the extra gadgets won’t be launched on fee of responsibility, taxes and redemption high-quality.
