One of the various shock bulletins for Switch at The Game Awards yesterday was Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound.
This is a model new 2D side-scroller starring the brand new hero Kenji Mozu and will likely be launching on the hybrid platform and different methods in some unspecified time in the future in Summer 2025. The story focuses on Mozu defending his village and its folks from a looming demonic risk.
While followers of the collection have already seen the sport in movement, we have now acquired some PR screenshots – displaying off the entire “razor sharp pixel artwork excellence”. This venture is a collab between Dotemu (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge) and developer The Game Kitchen (Blasphemous).
Players can look ahead to this recreation combining “old-school gameplay” with “trendy precision”. And it is also described as being “pick-up-and-play” just like the classics whereas introducing new layers of depth on the identical time.
