Jim Carrey revealed why he returned for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 to reprise his position as Doctor Robotnik.
During the movie’s UK premiere in London, the Ace Ventura Pet Detective star joked about why he signed on to do the third installment of the movie primarily based on the Sega online game.
“I got here again to this universe as a result of, to start with, I get to play a genius, which is a little bit of a stretch. And, you understand, it’s simply… I purchased loads of stuff and I would like the cash, frankly. Yeah,” Carrey informed the Associated Press.
In 2022, when the Bruce Almighty star was selling the sequel to Sonic the Hedgehog, he stated he was retiring from performing.
“I’m being pretty critical,” he stated in an interview to Access Hollywood on the time. “It relies upon. But I’m taking a break.”
