Ireland hits again after Israel accuses it of antisemitism and closes embassy

The Irish authorities has hit again after Israel accused it of antisemitism and closed its embassy in Dublin.

On Sunday Gideon Saar, Israel’s overseas minister, introduced the closure of the Israeli embassy in Dublin.

The transfer got here after Ireland recognised a Palestinian state in May, and introduced final week it might formally intervene on the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to help South Africa’s genocide case in opposition to Israel.

Criticising Ireland, Saar mentioned that its recognition of a Palestinian state was “praised by Hamas”, and likewise accused Ireland of “redefining” genocide to help South Africa’s case.
