An inquest into the dying of a younger mom who was overdosed with paracetamol in hospital has concluded that the drug didn’t contribute to her dying.

Laura Higginson, 30, who died on 19 April 2017 at Whiston Hospital in Prescot, Merseyside, had a uncommon and severe genetic situation which meant she was very underweight and may have been given a decrease dose, the listening to was informed.

Mrs Higginson had been recognized with Gitelmam syndrome in 2010, and had visited the hospital a number of occasions due to her kidney and liver issues.
