EXCLUSIVE: Everyone’s favourite Mercedes chassis/World War I fighter aircraft is getting a tune-up as Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson’s Eon Productions are in improvement with Amazon MGM Studios on a reimagined movie adaptation of the basic Dick Van Dyke household pic Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Sources say that improvement is in early levels, with Eon and Amazon execs presently setting conferences with potential writers and administrators.
The movie is being developed with a theatrical launch in thoughts, and the undertaking builds on Eon and Amazon MGM’s partnership on the James Bond franchise.
