Constance (Connie) J. Mono, 82, of Kamargo Apartments, Black River and previously of Carthage, handed peacefully Sunday morning, December 8,2024 at Carthage Area Hospital after a quick sickness.  

 

Connie was born on October 16,1942 in Carthage, the daughter of the late Robert and Nettie (Sadler) Hoffman. She attended faculty and graduated from Carthage High. She married Merle B. Mono Sr. on August 5,1961 in Carthage. Connie and Merle raised six kids collectively. Connie labored for a number of firms beginning with Braman MFG in Carthage, Lally’s in Herrings, Northland Electric in Watertown, Jubilee-Super Duper in West Carthage and most just lately at Bright Star Laundromat in West Carthage.  

 

Family was all the pieces to Connie. Connie loved household gatherings together with her kids and grandchildren, watching them develop. She would go to with buddies and do puzzles at Kamargo Apartments. Connie beloved spending time together with her canine, Miss Lily. 

 

She is survived by three daughters: Doreen Baxter of Carthage, Connie Mono (Victor Monaghan) Deferiet and Joanne (Gregory) Wisner of Carthage, two sons: William Mono (Erica Clarke) of Carthage and Leslie Mono (Brenda Bridge) of Copenhagen, 10 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandson, and her canine, Miss Lily. She is predeceased by her dad and mom, Robert and Nettie Hoffman, husband, Merle B. Mono Sr., son, Merle B. Mono Jr., an toddler son and daughter, Joey and Mary Mono, a grandson, Dustan Wisner, two sons-in-law, Harry Baxter and David Lagabed, a sister, Ethel Burrell and a brother: Robert Hoffman Jr.

 

Calling hours shall be held on Thursday, December 12 from 4-6pm on the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home, Carthage with a funeral service at 6:00pm with Rev Michael Neary officiating.  Burial shall be within the Spring in Fairview Cemetery, Carthage. To go away a condolence, go to www.bezanillafh.com.
