ZURICH — A member of Switzerland’s nationwide snowboard cross workforce has died in an avalanche on the mountain resort of Arosa within the east of the nation, the Swiss-Ski federation stated Tuesday.
Sophie Hediger, 26, was caught up within the avalanche in Arosa, which lies west of Davos, on Monday, the federation stated.
